1) Where did the name Anklebiters come from?A: My mother comes from a large family of 10 kids. Needless to say, I have a lot of cousins. When I was young, one of my grandmother’s friends would come around and refer to us as “all the anklebiters.” I always thought it was funny and when I needed a shop name it just stuck. It is a phrase used more commonly in Australia and England to describe young children.
2) I make a product that I want to sell in your store. I am very open to mom invented products but realize that there are only so many that can fit and be professional enough for resale. If we don’t sell your items, don’t give up. Some of the best kid’s items around are made by moms.
